Elwazeer has been something of a revelation since tried on polytrack, winning twice and then finishing a close third to Enigma Code over seven furlongs at the track last month. Elwazeer was doing his best work at the finish last time so the return to a mile will suit and the handicapper doesn't appear to have his measure just yet.

Jim Bolger has made a good start to 2012 and can add to his tally with Naoise in the 19:50. The lightly-raced son of Stormy Atlantic showed a good bit more than previously when finding only Lord Kenmare too good at the course last week and Naoise has only 2 lb more to carry now. The way he travelled through that race would suggest that the shorter trip will suit and Kevin Manning's mount is the most unexposed in the field.

Esytopolishadiamond was a costly failure at Wolverhampton last time but things didn't really go his way that day (forced to race wide) so he looks well worth another chance in the 20:20. He had caught the eye, in what was a stronger race than this evening's, over course and distance the time before and the promising Shane Gray takes a handy 7 lb off his back.
