Local Celebrity is effectively making his hurdling bow in the 12:45, having been hampered/unseated rider at the first at Cork last month, and, if able to translate his bumper form to this sphere he should have too much for his chief rivals Hair Oil Jimmy and Rourke's Cross, both of whom are far more exposed over timber. Local Celebrity was the best of these in bumpers and can continue the excellent form of the Willie Mullins yard.

Irish Soul (13:45) has improved appreciably since joining the James Motherway yard, winning handicaps at Fairyhouse, Punchestown and Clonmel of late. He's clearly thriving at present and, in a race where plenty have either form or stamina to prove, he should take an awful lot of beating in his bid for the four-timer. The improving Patrick Mangan also takes off a handy three pounds.

There were plenty of positives to glean from Bishops Walk's (15:25) debut effort in a two mile Punchestown bumper last November, finishing well to run Darwins Fox to a neck after being left with plenty to do. Noel Meade has taken charge of the son of Flemensfirth since his debut and his yard boast a 32% strike-rate in bumpers at this track in recent seasons.
