Dreamspeed was quickly upped in grade after winning on his debut at Sandown in July and showed better form despite not making a great impact, he finished fifth in the Group 2 Royal Lodge at Ascot on his final start. He should stay ten furlongs.

Gumnd got off the mark when making all in a maiden at Wolverhampton in March but finished last of six in a minor event at Kempton since then. He looks out of his depth here.

Prompter is an attractive colt, he won at Chester in August before having his sights raised, signing off with a head second to Morana in a Group 3 at Ascot (Togiak 4½ lengths adrift in fifth). He is likely to stay ten furlongs.

Togiak confirmed his debut promise when winning a mile maiden at Kempton at 2 yrs, showing a willing attitude. He produced good efforts on his final two starts, but he has plenty of ground to make up with Prompter on their Ascot running.

Verdict

Prompter's narrow defeat in a Group 3 at Ascot last back-end makes him the clear form pick of this quartet, and he shouldn't have too many problems with the step up to 1¼m. Togiak was well held in fifth at Ascot but could still be his closest pursuer here.
