Twelve line up for the Group 2 Park Hill Stakes...

Brushing has improved really well since being upped in trip this year, and she took her form to a new level when landing a listed race at York last month. She has further to go here, and will need to progress again.

Eastern Aria is a tough front runner who won seven times last term. She has improved again this year, winning a Group 3 over this trip at Goodwood in July. She wasn't disgraced in France last time, and is a leading contender once more.

Polly's Mark is a progressive filly who has run two excellent races at Haydock this year, chasing home Barshiba in the Lancashire Oaks. She finished second to Eastern Aria at Goodwood, but was behind that rival again in France next time.

Roses For The Lady split Sariska and Midday in the Irish Oaks in 2009, and was the ready winner of a listed race at Navan on return. She was below her best at the Curragh last time, but her trainer's runners here are always respected.

Snoqualmie Girl won a 1½m listed race at Chester in 2009. She was strong at the finish when second in a listed race at Newmarket in July, but that's the only time she's shown her form this season.

Dyna Waltz landed the Lingfield Oaks Trial in May. She hasn't been seen since, but is likely to stay this longer trip, and is still unexposed granted this sort of test.

Meeznah is a maiden winner who reached new heights when neck second to Snow Fairy in the Oaks at Epsom. She was back near that form in another Group 1 at York last time, and should stay this far.

Middle Club was a useful juvenile, winning a Group 3 at Chantilly. She has made further progress this year, short-headed in the Oaks d'Italia and third in a Group 3 at Deauville last time. She will stay 1¾m, but others hold better claims.

Rumoush comes from a superb family, and made it two from two in the listed Feilden Stakes at Newmarket in April. She acquitted herself with credit in the Oaks, but had no excuses last time. She's likely to stay the longer trip.

Shimmering Surf is a useful-looking filly who won a 1¼m maiden at Salisbury in May, and placed twice in listed company at Newbury subsequently. Her stamina is not assured, though, and this represents another step up in class.

Ship's Biscuit is a well-bred filly who won a maiden at Goodwood in June, but was well behind Eastern Aria at Goodwood last time. There's nothing to suggest she is up to Group 2 company.

Warling has been progressive in maidens, winning at Warwick (11f) in May. She didn't run too badly in a listed handicap last time, but that was off a mark of 83, and considerable improvement is required here.

Timeform View:
Eastern Aria won well at Goodwood in July and a reproduction of that performance may be enough to see her back in the winner's enclosure. Polly's Mark and Roses For The Lady could give her most to think about.
