"Laaheb is a highly progressive gelding, winning four times over this trip in 2009. He has reportedly wintered well, and the sky looks the limit for an in-form yard this season."
The bet365 Gordon Richards Stakes is one of the highlights at Sandown on Saturday...
Steele Tango gained a deserved pattern success in the Darley Stakes at Newmarket in 2009. He produced a respectable effort behind Tranquil Tiger over the same C&D on his return, but it would be surprising if he betters his fourth in this last year.
Tranquil Tiger is not straightforward, but is a smart performer with a good strike rate, particularly on polytrack. He looked none too keen when finishing runner-up in the Earl of Sefton last week and this is tougher.
Crowded House has had his problems since winning the Racing Post Trophy in 2008, but produced creditable efforts in Dubai on his return this year and return to turf will suit. Kieran Fallon is on board for the first time.
Glass Harmonium showed a fine turn of foot when landing a listed race at Royal Ascot in 2009. He was beaten just a head by Steele Tango on his final start and should reverse the placings. He could be set for a good season.

Redwood created a good impression when winning at Newmarket on his first two starts, but he has not been seen since beating only one home in last season's Dante. He could well need this after eleven months off.
Soul City did well at 2 yrs, his four wins including a French Group 3 and a very valuable sales race. He has been seen just three times since, fading upped to this trip in the Winter Derby last month, and he still has his stamina for this trip to prove.
Verdict
Crowded House is back in the same sort of form that made him Timeform's highest rated 2-y-o in 2008 and should be feared by all, but Laaheb did nothing but progress last term and looks up to making a winning start in pattern company if picking up where he left off. Glass Harmonium is the type who'll do even better for Sir Michael Stoute this year and is a likely player also.
