"Kingsmaite is a regular on the all-weather, winning twice earlier in the year. He is edging down towards good mark but has not been at his best of late and others look more solid."

Smalljohn and Seldom were first and second in a C&D handicap last week and can fill the same placings again. Kensington is well capable off this sort of mark on a going day and is another to consider.

Ishiadancer was a wide-margin winner at Ayr in October but was hit hard by the handicapper as a result and efforts since suggest she's high enough in the weights for now.

Blue Charm won off 6 lb lower mark at Pontefract in April. He acts on the all-weather but is up against it from his current mark and fitness has to be taken on trust on first start since July.

Kipchak won a handicap over course and distance in December and was also successful in a claimer over this trip at Lingfield last time. He is best when able to dominate though and faces competition for the lead here.

Kensington has got a win in him at some point given the mark he's fallen to, and ran well when second over this trip at Kempton on his penultimate start. He was below form last time but it would be no surprise to see him bounce back.

Smalljohn is, like most from his yard, in good form at present, beating Seldom in a course and distance handicap last week. He should make a bold bid to follow up under a penalty.

Seldom came back to form when runner-up off this mark on his last two starts and meets Smalljohn on 6 lb better terms than last time but that may not be enough for him to reverse placings.

Kingsmaite is a regular on the all-weather, winning twice earlier in the year. He is edging down towards good mark but has not been at his best of late and others look more solid.
