Two of today's bets come at Wolverhampton.

Ebraam is the clear pick on form in Wolverhampton's opener (13:45) and the strong-traveller shouldn't be inconvenienced by the switch from Mike Murphy to Ron Harris given the latter's regular success in low-level races. Ebraam won at Lingfield last month and would only need to replicate that effort to justify his price and secure a third success in claiming company.

In the following race, Better Self, who is having just her second start for David Evans, looks an attractive price at [6.8], especially considering the drop back to seven furlongs is sure to suit and the stable are in excellent form. The most notable danger is James Given's Sky Diamond, whose win here ten days earlier (Better Self back in fifth) has been franked by the success of the runner-up in a maiden yesterday, but he's hardly proven the most consistent and is worth taking on at the prices.

Kempton host a twilight meeting today and the best bet of the card may well come in the opening claimer which looks at the mercy of Johnny Hancocks. The reliable gelding had a rare off day in nursery company last time but has been found an excellent opportunity to get back on track here. He possesses plenty of speed and will be hard to peg back from his good draw.
