Lord Singer can score over hurdles at Plumpton

Although open, this race is nowhere near as competitive as Newbury, and Lord Singer is also able to race off a 2 lb lower mark

Having posted a 7 point profit to Betfair SP from just 3 selections on Saturday the Timeform Free Form Service offer three of the best for Easter Sunday's action.

At Plumpton, the progressive Lord Singer (3.30) can prove music to punters' ears. He has done really well for Gary Moore since arriving from France, winning at this track and at Fontwell, and running creditably when upped in grade at Newbury last week. Although open, this race is nowhere near as competitive as that, and he is also able to race off a 2 lb lower mark.

The feature race up at Musselburgh is the Musselburgh Gold Cup Handicap and, while we like the look of the consistent Gordonsville who bids to follow up his win twelve months ago, we are more taken with how well-in Bogside Theatre (3.50) appears to be on her return to the level. Progressive on the Flat in 2008, Bogside Theatre was disappointing last term, but has since been rejuvenated by a spell hurdling, hosing up in a race at Catterick last month that's already thrown up a winner. Narrowly beaten in a competitive stayers race at Ascot off 91 a couple of summers back, she must be worth a punt off the mark she finds herself on now.

Nicky Henderson's record in bumpers continues to be one of the best around, four of his last five runners in the division having been successful. Cavite Beta (5.10) at Towcester is his only runner on Sunday and the well-bred gelding is taken to continue the good run. From the family of the yard's top chaser Trabolgan, he won a point in February, and looks to have a bright future.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Back to win:

Plumpton 3.30 Lord Singer
Musselburgh 3.50 Bogside Theatre
Towcester 5.10 Cavite Beta
