"Charlie Longsdon has enjoyed a productive season, and he could well end the campaign in style with a double at Market Rasen.."
Three for Saturday from the Timeform Free Form Website
Sandown's mixed card is the feature meeting on Saturday, and the evergreen Millfields Dream (1.00) can land the opening Flat v Jump jockeys handicap. Things finally clicked for the eleven-year-old when a decisive winner over a mile at Kempton last week on just his second start for Pat Leech. Given he was competitive off marks in the high 70s last year, he looks well treated back on turf, and, if connections have indeed found the key to him, Millfields Dream will prove very hard to beat.
Charlie Longsdon has enjoyed a productive season, and he could well end the campaign in style with a double at Market Rasen.
Hidden Keel (1.40) will hopefully set the ball rolling in the novice hurdle. The five-year-old won once from two starts in bumpers, and has progressed with each of three runs over hurdles this year, successful at Doncaster in February. That race has worked out well, with the third and fourth (namely Laureldean River who he re-opposes here) winning next time out. It can be argued Hidden Keel was value for a bit extra on that occasion, and, with the prospect of more to come, Hidden Keel should prove hard to beat. Later on the card, Maurisca (3.50) stands out a mile amongst a collection of exposed handicappers, and he is a confident selection to build on the promise of his chase debut and go one better. Maurisca jumped really well when second at this venue, matching the pick of his timber form in the process. Allowed to race off the same mark, he undoubtedly has handicaps in him off this mark, and with main danger Sam Crusie unlikely to get an easy lead, Maurisca should take these with the minimum of fuss.
RECOMMENDATIONS

Market Rasen 1.40 Hidden Keel
