The manner of his last two victories have left the impression that Bene Lad (2.20) is a handicapper to follow for a while yet and he can make it three in a row over fences at Ayr. Another who can make it three in a row is Flower Haven (6.00) at Uttoxeter. Flower Haven has bloomed since joining Victor Dartnall, and did it all too easily when winning for the second time in a week at Chepstow recently.

Murura is likely to be short enough in the six-furlong minor event for three-year-olds at Kempton, but the James Given-trained son of Green Desert has fared worst of all in the draw, and Autocracy (7.30) could be a safer option. There must be a good chance we've not seen the best of Autocracy yet, and he ran his best race at two when switched to polytrack on his final start, third in a bunched finish behind I'malwaysright at Wolverhampton.
