VERDICT:
A stayers handicap concludes the card at Newmarket on Saturday and whilst it's easy to see why recent Doncaster winner Hawk Mountain is the warm favourite - this is a competitive little race and SILK HALL looks to represent better value. Silk Hall, from Alan King's stable is a successful hurdler who retains plenty of ability on the flat and was just pipped a nose at Nottingham last time out.
