Ouch !!!!! Gaily Noble was pipped a short head yesterday after looking home and dry and trading as low as 1.02 on Betfair. That would have gone a long way to recovering from a poor week but it wasn't to be - though at least we saved the stakes on the place bet. All National Hunt racing today and the best bet may be FIFTYFIVE DEGREES in the 4.10 at Carlisle. The going is heavy which suits this recent Newcastle winner who has the assistance of Timmy Murphy in the saddle today.
