Once A Gulch appeared to be travelling well on the turn for home at Pontefract yesterday but failed to pick up and finished in fourth.

Today's bet is BENEDETTO who hails from the in-form stable of Amanda Perrett. He wasn't beaten far when fifth to Spate River at Goodwood last week and that looked a hotter race than todays. Added to that he encountered a lot of trouble in the race and is value for more than his finishing position.
