James Fanshawe: Snow Magic's trainer has his string in good form
"Snow Magic wasn't at her best on her reappearance but she progressed last season and is taken to get back on the up."
Timeform go through the runners for this fillies' handicap...
Piano was on the up when winning twice on polytrack at Lingfield and Kempton in October. She stayed on well having been set too much to do when fourth on her reappearance and remains open to progress.
Countess Comet has been quietly progressive in handicaps since winning her maiden over a mile and a half at Chepstow on her reappearance in 2010, signing off with a good third at Lingfield in October. She should be sharper for her recent return.
Rock My World has only run twice but confirmed her debut promise when landing a Lingfield maiden in September. She is open to further improvement now handicapping on her return for an in-form yard.
Satwa Pearl is a ex-French performer who won at Deauville when last seen in March. She could be well treated ahead of her British debut and the market is likely to prove informative.
Snow Magic made it two from three in handicaps last year when landing a mile-and-a-quarter event at Kempton in October. She wasn't at her best on her return but should come on for the run and is still relatively unexposed.
Fashionable Gal has thrived since joining this yard, winning twice at Lingfield. She was slightly disappointing back on turf last time but there's no reason why she won't prove just as good on this surface.
Ela Gorrie Mou improved again in 2010, winning a handicap at Windsor in June. She ran poorly on her final outing but went well fresh last season and is entitled to be in the shake-up.
Shamardal Phantom was placed on her first three starts in maidens before getting off the mark in a modest event at Wolverhampton in February. She looks on a fair mark starting out in handicaps.
The Blue Dog improved when winning twice at up to a mile and a half on the all-weather this year. She was better than ever when just touched off at Beverley last month, but failed to build on it next time.
Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Snow Magic
2. Rock My World
3. Piano
Timeform View: Snow Magic wasn't at her best on her reappearance but she progressed last season and is taken to get back on the up. Rock My World and Piano remain open to improvement and look the main dangers.
