"Rajeh and Regal Park dead-heated for third at Newmarket last time and are likely to go close again, but both may struggle to cope with the progressive Jivry."

Timeform run the rule over this useful staying handicap...

Kazbow was progressive last summer, winning mile-and-three-quarter handicaps at Haydock and Doncaster. He got back on track when scoring at the latter course in June and needs considering, for all his new mark looks stiff enough.

Plato seldom runs a bad race and has shown similar form when placed on his last four handicap outings, the latest over two mile at Ascot a month ago. He has been raised again for that, and the chances are that will leave him vulnerable.

Nave has made up into a useful handicapper around this trip and ran well when placed three times in April and May. He hasn't been at his best on his last couple of starts though, and needs first-time blinkers to revive him.

Regal Park improved for a step up in trip when winning twice for Jeremy Noseda last autumn and has run well when placed on two of his last three starts for this year, doing well over a trip short of his best last time. He's not the most straightforward, but can't be ruled out.

Comedy Act won three times at up to a mile and three quarters for Sir Mark Prescott in 2010. He didn't go on when sent jumping with Philip Hobbs, and followed a good run at Hamilton for this yard with a tame effort in claiming company last time.

Royal Trooper is a strong traveller who posted a fifth career win at Doncaster last month. He was behind Comedy Act when fourth at Hamilton last time and needs to pull out more to defy this mark.

Jivry looked a good prospect when winning a maiden here last July and belatedly built on that when runner-up to Samson's Son at Windsor on his reappearance. This step up in trip is sure to suit and she's much respected.

Rajeh is a useful handicapper on his day, as when winning over a mile and a half at Pontefract last spring. He ran his best race this year when dead-heating for third with Regal Park at Newmarket last time and there shouldn't be much between them again.

Bollin Judith is improving with age and followed an easy win at Newcastle with a game success at York in June. She has found her new mark beyond her twice since, and may not find this a sufficient test of stamina

Korabushka progressed in maidens and was always doing enough when winning over a mile and a half at Newbury in June. She stopped quickly on her handicap debut last time and is now tried in a tongue tie.

Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Jivry
2. Rajeh
3. Regal Park

Timeform View: Rajeh and Regal Park dead-heated for third at Newmarket last time and are likely to go close again, but both may struggle to cope with the progressive Jivry who can build on a promising reappearance.
