Worcester is one of three courses with jumps racing in Britain on Sunday
"Sir Ian won a couple of times here last year and can build on his latest effort which came after a break. Qulinton and Sunday City are others to consider."
Three jumps cards in Britain on Sunday, and this two-and-a-half mile handicap chase at Worcester looks one of the most interesting betting events....
Sunday City was back on song last summer and better than ever when winning at Huntingdon in October. Shaped with promise on return to action last month, and no surprise to see a big run under the conditions.
Sir Ian is a free-going front runner who was a big improver last season, winning twice over C&D. Still on a fair mark and should be sharper with a run this spring behind him.
Patman du Charmil is lightly raced in recent seasons but back to form this year, winning over this sort of trip at Southwell and Ffos Las. Taken on for the lead last time and sulked, which could happen here.
Qulinton is a free-goer who ran a blinder when chasing home a progressive sort in warm Wetherby handicap in October. Not at best since but step back up in trip will be in his favour.
Intac can finish weakly but found plenty when recording third chase win at Hereford last month on return from a break. 8 lb rise likely to find him out here, though.
Cruchain is a winning hurdler who has been in good form since joining current yard, jumping better than is often case when winning 2m chase at Cheltenham last month. Tended to go right at Newton Abbot since.
Just Smudge jumped well when a convincing winner over 2½m at Aintree in October, but that display a rarity for him, and mistakes continue to hold him back, failing to complete on last 3 outings.
Storm of Applause's last win came in November 2009 over 2m at Ffos Las, but back to that sort of form when second 3 times last season, and not out the question he'll again fill one of the minor berths.
Rodrigo Gonzales is lightly raced over the years and has achieved little since last win in 2½m novice chase at Bangor in July 2009. Never been risked on ground firmer than good before.

Timeform's View: Sir Ian won a couple of times here last year and can build on his latest effort which came after a break. Qulinton and Sunday City are others to consider.
