Lupanar has gone over 3 years since last success and increasingly let down by attitude. This easier than races he's been contesting but still can't be supported with maximum confidence.

Deep Pockets has won 3 times over fences at Plumpton and definite scope off current mark over hurdles judged on Towcester second back in May. Player if ready to go after his break.

Storm Survivor improved when easily landing gamble over 2¾m at Folkestone in November. Inexperience arguably cost him second win on New Year's Day and visored now. Leading claims stepped up in trip.

Sapphire Rouge won 3m Southwell handicap in the summer. Runner-up twice since, and will find this easier than Ascot contest she ran in last time, though no hiding place from current mark.

Go Amwell is an ungenuine sort who was revived by a change of headgear when winning 3¼m handicap at Huntingdon in November. 10 lb rise wasn't excessive but highlighted moody side back there on Boxing Day.

The Red Laird won 25f Warwick handicap in December 2010. Fair fourth at Catterick when last seen almost a year ago, but beaten on comeback runs here last 2 seasons and others could prove safer.

Bobbie Magern has been subject of market support last twice but not shaping like a winner waiting to happen. Needs first-time blinkers to get him back on track.

Twin Bud is a modest maiden who has saved her best efforts this season for Plumpton. Step up in trip will suit and not without a chance if on one of her going days.

Balustrade has a patchy record since sole success in 2¾m Fontwell handicap in January 2011. Laboured effort in admittedly tougher contest last time and not one to trust.
