"Foxtrot Hotel is unexposed and still open to improvement, but he isn't sure to be suited by the extra furlong and preference is for Kawssaj who has more to give himself on his handicap bow."

There are a couple of unexposed ones in this seven-furlong handicap...

Imprimis Tagula is best at six or seven furlongs on the all-weather/ He was back to form at Hamilton on his penultimate start and may have found the race coming too soon at Ayr three days later.

Rondeau is a free-going hold-u[ handicapper who recorded his second success of the year in a seven-furlong event at Epsom last month. He was stretched by the trip over a mile at Brighton last time and this is more suitable.

Kawssaj is the third foal of the 1000 Guineas winner Ameerat. He was runner-up on his first two starts in turf maidens prior to easily opening his account over this trip on polytrack at Lingfield last month. He is open to further improvement on his handicap debut.

Local Singer has run well on all his start since last winning 14 months ago, notably when second to Flynn's Boy over seven furlongs at Salisbury last time. There's no reason why he shouldn't give another good account.

She Ain't A Saint won her first two starts on the all-weather earlier in the year. She isn't as good on turf, but wasn't discredited at Nottingham last time and it could be that the return to polytrack will bring about a further upturn in her fortunes.

Douze Points is an ex-Irish handicapper with a poor strike rate. He hinted at a return to his best when third over a mile here last month, but failed to beat any home at Galway last time.

Moretta Blanche won her first two starts in 2010. She has largely struggled in handicaps since, but made more of an impact when fourth to Directorship in a big field at Newbury recently and is now tried tongue tied.

Golden Tempest won on her nursery debut at this track last year. She was well supported and got back on the up when third in a handicap back here in June despite not getting a clear run and this surface clearly suits her well.

Cape Rambler was placed on three of his four starts over six furlongs last year and didn't need to improve to land a seven-furlong turf maiden at Lingfield on his reappearance last month/ He needs to do more to defy this mark on his all-weather debut.

Foxtrot Hotel confirmed his debut promise when landing a six-furlong Newbury maiden in May. He ran well when third to Blanche Dubawi at Ascot last time, impressing with his speed, but has some stamina doubts now stepping up to seven furlongs.

Ocean Legend has recorded his last four wins in handicaps over this course and distance, the latest in February off a 5 lb higher mark, but his recent efforts on turf have lacked sparked and he has a bit to prove now back at his favoured venue.

Copperwood was a multiple winner on polytrack in 2010 and scored again at Wolverhampton in March/ He has been placed three time since but others look better treated for all the return to this surface will suit.

Charles Fosterkane carries his head high but did the job nicely in a seven-furlong nursery at Wolverhampton on his final start of 2010. He ran respectably over course and distance on his penultimate outing and all his best efforts have come on this surface.

Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Kawssaj
2. Golden Tempest
3. Foxtrot Hotel

Timeform View: Foxtrot Hotel is unexposed and still open to improvement, but he isn't sure to be suited by the extra furlong and preference is for Kawssaj who has more to give himself on his handicap bow. Golden Tempest has sound each-way claims back on polytrack.
