It's a pair of Aintree bets for Mr Shiambouros...

At Aintree today in the opening race at 1.45 Saticon is a horse that should be competitive in this decent event.Last time out this gelding ran a solid third to Silk Affair in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham. He will appreciate the better ground today and should run well.

In the Grand National at 4.15 I am quite sweet on the chances of State Of Play.This lightly raced nine-year-old has a touch of class and has been carefully prepared for this race. A couple of seasons ago he finished sixth to Kauto Star in the Gold Cup. If he puts in a clear round he should run a big race.At present he is trading at [15.5] on the exchange.
