Nick heads to Yarmouth for his final selection of the week.

Magaling should go close in the opening race at Yarmouth today - a maiden due off at 2.20.

This son of Medicean ran a super race on debut when only just being denied by Khor Dubai but did not appear to handle the course last time out at Goodwood behind Gyr. Today this flat track will suit him and his current price of [2.72] looks appropriate.

Fantasia is a very interesting runner at Goodwood today in the 3.45 Group 3 event. This daughter of Sadler's Wells comes in to this race after triumphing in a very good maiden at HQ that was run in very heavy rain. She emerged as the leader that day inside the final furlong and won going away. I believe she has scope for considerable improvement and could go very close today. At present the selection is trading at [4.1] on the exchange.

At Newbury today in the 1.45 Spin Cycle could go well at a very good price in this Group 2 event. This colt ran his heart out against South Central in the Norfolk Stakes to finish second but last time out he did not show his true form when disappointing behind Finjaan at Goodwood. At present, the selection is trading at [18.0] on the exchange and I have backed him at this price.

Later on at Newbury in the 3.25 Wing Collar is a very interesting runner in this big handicap. This seven year old gelding ran well behind the classy Yellowstone last time out at York and will handle the ground. He comes in to this race on a decent mark and could go well in this event.

At Great Leighs today Igor Protti is an interesting runner in this decent race at 4.25 on the Poly. This horse by Opening Verse makes his debut in the UK today after running at Nad Al Sheba this Winter. On debut in the desert he was most impressive beating a fair field easily and was raised in class in March when running a respectable sixth to Jalil in a Group 2 event. He appears to run best when fresh and could go close in this event.

At Folkestone tonight in the 6.25 King's La Mont could go well at a very big price.

This colt by King's Best ran well on debut behind Pegasus Lad in a better race at Sandown and this stable's horses tend to improve quite a lot for a run.I do not think this race will take a great deal of winning so with normal improvement a decent run is expected.

At York today in the 2.15 The Cheka is a very interesting runner in this quality field. On debut this Xaar colt absolutely bolted up in a fair maiden at Ascot and it was a most taking performance visually and one could not fail to be impressed with that effort. Clearly he has more to do today but i think he has significant improvement in him and could go very close today. At present he is trading at [3.65] on the exchange.

At Lingfield today in the 4pm War Native is an interesting runner in this decent event.On debut at HQ this son of Cape Cross was very impressive when beating Spanish Baron in a maiden run on the July course. The form of that race is already beginning to work out with the runner up boosting the form by winning at Lingfield a few days ago. At present the selection is trading at [2.0] on the exchange which appears to be a very favourable price.
