Don't "wait around" before backing this horse at Salisbury today

At Salisbury today in the 3.30, Lobby is of interest in both markets for this maiden. The selection has some decent-looking form in the book as a two year old, notably when running in a very decent Ascot maiden won by the smart City Leader last year. Clearly he had no chance that day, but today with another year on his back he could go very well in this race at a decent price.

At Newmarket today in the 3pm, Tranquil Tiger has solid credentials in this valuable Listed race on the July course over a mile and a half.

The selection was most impressive last time out at Pontefract when beating Dunaskin in ready fashion.He comes in to this race in excellent form and should go very close today.At present he is trading at [2.38] in the win market.

If you're not out partying tonight at 8.05, get on Nick's selection and you may have a good reason to do just that.

At HQ tonight, Bastakiya makes her seasonal reappearance as a three year old in a very nice race run over six furlongs at 8.05.

Last year, this daughter of Dubai Destination ran very well at Royal Ascot finishing in mid-pack behind Elletelle in The Queen Mary over five furlongs. Tonight, this extra furlong will suit her and she should be fit enough to do herself justice.

Thursday

Today's selection comes from the card at Warwick

At Warwick today in the 3.50 I like the look of Kylayne in this decent listed event for three year old fillies.The selection put up a huge effort in her first start this season and she looked the likely winner of The Nell Gwyn Stakes at HQ a furlong out but finished a brave second to the eventual winner Infallible.Last time out at Lingfield she ran another decent race finishing a very good third to Sabana Pardida, today the opposition is softer and her current trading price of [2.56] looks appropriate.

Tepmokea should prove hard to beat in the Carlisle opener, a maiden that goes off at 2pm.

This well bred colt showed promise when running well to finish fourth in a decent maiden at York on his debut. This race appears to be slightly weaker and he is a deserving favourite. At present the selection is trading at [2.24] on the exchange which appears reasonable.

Over at Bath in the 6.40 I shall be having a interest on Minder in both markets in what is an interesting maiden. This former 80/20 selection has shown promise on both starts and will appreciate the faster conditions tonight.

At Beverley in the 4:15, I shall be having an interest in Wikaala in this maiden. The selection has some solid form in the back, notably last time out when finishing third to Navajo Joe at Lingfield in the poly. The fourth placed horse boosted the form nicely when winning a good maiden at Windsor last night. At present the selection is trading at [3.35] on the exchange.

At Lingfield today in the opening race at 2.15, Timeteam looks to have a very good chance of opening his account in this maiden over the minimum distance. Last time out this son of Danetime met trouble in running when finishing second to Infamous Angel at Bath.With a clear passage today he will be tough to deny. At present the selection is trading at 2.26 on the exchange.
