Nick's selection is running at Thirsk today but who has he gone for?

At Thirsk today in the 2.30 Glan Lady should go close in this selling race run over six furlongs.This filly by Court Cave really caught the eye on debut when finishing a promising fifth to Advertise on soft ground at Warwick.Today she is dropped in grade for this race and her current price of [2.78] looks appropriate.

At Kempton today in the 4pm Ashram is a very interesting runner in this decent conditions race over seven furlongs. This son of Indian Haven put up a remarkable performance at HQ on debut when he finished like a rocket to get up close home in a fair race. Today the water is a little deeper but he is open to a great deal of improvement and should go close in this race.At present he is trading at 3.5 on the exchange.

At Lingfield today Red Cell is an interesting runner in this nursery run over the minimum trip at 3.20. This gelded son of Kheleyf has been a model of consistency this season and was caught on the line last time out at Great Leighs. He has more to do today but this easy course should suit his running style.

At Warwick today in the 5pm Spotty Muldoon is an interesting runner in this maiden run over a mile.This colt by Mull Of Kintyre has shown steady improvement notably last time out at HQ when finishing a decent second to Lake Windermere.I believe this colt will be suited by this extra distance today and he should go close.

At Brighton today in the opening race at 2.30 Popiel is a beautifully bred colt by Halling. He showed he possesses ability when on debut he finished third to a fair sort after meeting trouble in running. He is sure to improve for the run and should go close in this maiden today.

At Goodwood today in the 4.20 Duncan should go very close in this maiden after a couple of promising efforts notably when testing Island Vista at Windsor last time out eventually finishing a decent second.I think the selection has enough scope to move forward in this race and a big run is expected.

At Lingfield today in the 4.10 I will be backing Sans Frontieres in this good looking maiden race over run over seven furlongs.This beautifully bred colt by Galileo makes his debut for high profile connections and is entered in most of the important races later on in the year.With the stable going well this colt could go very close at the first time of asking.
