The Irish Flat season gets underway at the Curragh this afternoon, but we stick with the jumps action at Cork for all three of Sunday's selections.

The 15:25 is not a strong handicap chase and recent hurdles winner The Buck can take advantage of a potentially lenient mark over fences. A three-time winner over hurdles, including around here in October, John Joseph Murphy's representative put up an improved display at Gowran on his latest start and could benefit from an easy lead back over fences, too.

Martin Scruff and Plan A have both gone on to show improved form for Gordon Elliott's stable this term having left Mick Quinlan and Dev (16:25) looks to have strong claims of making a winning debut for the yard in the feature race on the card. Last seen when winning the Grand Sefton at Aintree, Dev looks to have his ideal conditions and really should take all the beating with Paul Carberry on board.

With three last-time-out winner's amongst the field, the novice handicap hurdle at 16:55 looks a pretty competitive affair, but it's the less exposed Munsaab that gets our vote. Well backed when showing fairly useful form to win a maiden at Punchestown, Munsaab has improved with each outing over hurdles so far, looking to finish with running left when unenterprisingly ridden at Thurles on latest. Current prices around [12.0] make plenty of appeal.
