"Willie Mullins's mare is most progressive and the form of her recent Naas success was franked by the third winning earlier in the week"

Two cards to get stuck into in Ireland this Sunday and we have three win selections

At first glance, the mares novice hurdle at Limerick looks a competitive affair, but plenty of the princiapls are likely to find this kind of a test on the sharp side and Dare To Doubt (14.55) rates as banker material in a contest where she may get an uncontested lead. Willie Mullins's mare is most progressive and the form of her recent Naas success was franked by the third winning earlier in the week.

Martin Scruff is obviously on the up, but there is every chance he'll be overbet in this handicap at Navan after the well-documented circumstances of his second last time, and it may well prove best to side with last-time-out winner Square Sphere (16.10). Robert Tyner's representative has an excellent strike rate, is not yet fully exposed at 3m and is ridden by a promising 7 lb claimer.

Pontiac (17.15) has been acquitting himself well in stronger maidens than this one of late and might not need to improve greatly to land his first win over fences. Jessie Harrington's team are in excellent form still and Pontiac looks by some way the most solid betting proposition, with question marks over the fitness of Mr Nosie and the attitude of Gusda.

Recommendations

back Dare to Doubt in the 14.55 at Limerick
back Square Sphere win and place in the 16.10 at Navan
back Pontiac in the 17.15 at Navan
