"Tipper Road hinted at a return to form when third at Downpatrick last month and, with a recent flat outing under his belt, he should be spot on fitness wise for his bid to take the handicap hurdle at 5.15"

Timeform's Billy Nash gives you three recommendations for racing in Ireland on Thursday...

Tipperary 5:15 - Win and Place back - Tipper Road

Tipper Road hinted at a return to form when third at Downpatrick last month and, with a recent flat outing under his belt, he should be spot on fitness wise for his bid to take the handicap hurdle at 5.15. Fourth from a higher mark in a similar event at this course last term, Tipper Road has dropped to a favourable mark and is expected to go close.

Tipperary 5:50 - Win back- Old Shyan

Timothy Cleary doesn't have many horses in his care and the 6-y-o gelding Old Shyan would be amongst his leading lights despite not having won a race under Rules, either over hurdles or fences. That could all change in the handicap chase at 5.50 tomorrow, where Old Shyan looks to have strong claims of going one better than at Fairyhouse earlier this month. Runner-up off an ITC mark of 98 at this track over hurdles last term, he still appeals as relatively well-treated over fences.

Tipperary 7:20 - Win back - Coolharbour Breeze

Cuan Na Grai capped off a memorable 2009/10 season for Paul Nolan with success at Punchestown and his good form looks set to continue with Coolharbour Breeze in the mares bumper at 7.20. A winner of two points, Coolharbour Breeze didn't look to be suited by the thorough test of stamina on heavy ground at Cork, tiring late on having travelled strongly for a long way, and she must have good chance of going one better with the emphasis more on speed here.
