Two backs and one lay based on price movements on Betfair's racing markets. The reasons and the reasoning are explained by the Follow The Money crew...
Starting at Wolverhampton in the 14:00 Amateur Riders' Handicap over 6f Cheyenne Red had been supported in to [2.80] from [4.20]. The six year old gelding won last time out at Wolverhampton from a high draw in a class handicap. Today he is ridden by a top amateur jockey in Mr S Walker and with no doubts over the course and distance, he looks to be a worthy favourite today.
Over to Plumpton in the 15:15 Conditional Jockey's Handicap Storm Survivor has drifted out to [4.20] from [2.50]. The six year old gelding has been in good recent form, winning at Folkestone in November, off 10lb lower but failing to win as an odds-on favourite at Fakenham last time on soft ground. He has only won once and that was under champion jockey A P McCoy. And although he looks to be a reasonable favourite, this is a testing track and he steps up in distance today. Perhaps the value is with horses who have won over the course and distance before.
Finally, at Wolverhampton in the 16:40 Handicap Class 6 over 1m 1f, Mataajir has been well supported in to [4.50] from [6.20]. He ran badly last time out at Kempton but that was in a higher class, however. In his most recent visit to Wolverhampton, he finished second, losing by a head as an even money favourite. He carries less weight today, 9st 4lb, comes back down in trip so will not face any serious questions regarding his stamina, ran at 1m 3f at Kempton which appeared too far, and if you forget that run, he looks to have a good chance based on his previous form.
