"For our final selection we go to Wolverhampton and in the 1m4f Handicap at 16:10 there has been a significant move for Stormy Morning, who has shortened to 4.4 from 7.6."

The FTM boys are happy to see plenty of racing going on after the weather has created so much havoc recently. Here are their three picks for the day.

We start at Newbury and in the 2m Hurdle at 13:35 where there has been solid support for Megastar who is now available around the [3.7] mark having been [5.0] earlier on. This Gary Moore trained inmate showed he is a horse with future when transferring his good Bumper form to hurdles last time out at Ascot, scooting up by 16 lengths. This race looks tougher on paper with some other potential stars in opposition from top yards, but he looks one to keep on the right side of, with more improvement to come - especially in his jumping. He should make a bold bid today.

Staying at Newbury and in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle at 14:10 Al Ferof has eased in betting and has now moved out to [3.7] from an early [2.84]. He comes here today looking to put his hurdling debut effort behind him, when he crashed out when still going well at Cheltenham earlier this month. He is held in some regard by his trainer and as long as his confidence is intact, he should put up a good show. But this looks tougher than that last race, with some promising rivals in opposition, and this step up in grade may prove too much this time.

For our final selection we go to Wolverhampton and in the 1m4f Handicap at 16:10 there has been a significant move for Stormy Morning, who has shortened to [4.4] from [7.6]. Prior to last time he put in two good efforts over 1m6f to finish second at a similar level, one on turf at Ffos Las and the other at this track. He may well have gone close last time but got denied a clear run and never threatened after. He has shown he handles this track well and a drop in trip may be in his favour as he has won at 1m5f. Although this looks fairly competitive, the money down suggests a big run is on the cards.
