Follow The Money to Catterick, Folkestone and Southwell...
"There's been a plunge in the market for Nazreef from the early [3.5] in to [2.58]."
For today's Follow The Money movers we head to the meetings at Folkestone, Catterick and Southwell.
In the 12:35 class 4 Novices Hurdle at Folkestone, American Ladie has drifted from an early [2.17] out to [2.58]. Punters seem keen to back Alarazi who is taken to defy his penalty and has been backed to do so having halved in price from [10.5] in to [6.0]. Throw some unknown quantities into the mix and it is easy to see why American Ladie is being taken on in the market.
In the 13:45 at Catterick, significant money has been seen for Star Beat having been backed from [14.0] in to [9.6]. A creditable third place for his new yard, finishing just two lengths back at Wetherby last time should have him in good order for this. He won fairly easily over this course and distance in March and it seems he is one that punters have some faith in today.
In Southwell's 13:55 class 4 handicap over a mile there has been a plunge in the market for Nazreef going from the early [3.5] in to [2.58]. Hughie Morrison's charge has recorded two wins from two runs over this course and distance, and was an excellent third over a slightly inadequate 7f on the turf at Doncaster last run. It seems he has a lot in his favour returning to his optimum trip and surface today and is one that punters want to keep onside.
Recommended bets:
Lay American Ladie @ [2.58] 12:35 Folkestone
Back Star Beat @ [9.6] 13:45 Catterick
Back Nazreef @ [2.54] 13:55 Southwell
