"Beneath's momentum - he's moved from [2.48] to [1.98] - looks set to continue as he bids to make up for a slightly unlucky defeat last time."
Today's movers come from the meetings at Thurles and Wolverhampton.
Quarryvale has attracted support for the opening 13:30 race at Thurles. She's moved from [12.0] in to [8.4] and the mare has good course and going form (twice a winner). Today she faces the obstacle of a Willie Mullins trained favourite but with her front-running tactics likely to suit today's conditions, she makes a decent trading proposition as well as a sporting outright bet.
Beneath takes up half the market for the 14:25 at Wolverhampton. The momentum - he's moved from [2.48] to [1.98] - looks set to continue up to the off as he bids to make up for a slightly unlucky defeat last time. Luke McNiff takes over the reins in today's apprentice handicap, and there is plenty of confidence behind the duo.
Our recommended lay is Dare To Doubt in the 14:35 at Thurles. She shaped pretty well on chase debut and, given that she has won five times in bumpers and hurdles, started trading at [2.04]. As the market has developed, her price has veered out to [2.8] and the large field of beginner chasers offers plenty of scope for a further drift.
