"Hannon is often prolific with his 2yos at this time of year and such strong market confidence in Haafhd Handsome could be highly significant."

Todays Follow The Money movers come from the meetings at Newmarket and Fontwell.

We start at Newmarket where Engrossing has received strongly support, moving in to [4.7] from an earlier [6.4] to win the 1m Maiden Stakes at 15:40.

David Elsworth's colt made a promising debut over course and distance last month when not beaten far in fourth, and it would be no surprise to see him come on considerably today for having had that experience. He holds an entry for next year's Derby and a strong performance here would go some way to justifying such lofty ambitions. Furthermore, Paul Hanagan takes the ride and will not be holding back as he strives to retain his Championship title over these final few weeks of the season.

Later on the same card Haafhd Handsome has been well backed in to [2.92] from [3.65] in the 16:45 1m Maiden Stakes. Richard Hannon's two-year-old now looks like a winner waiting to happen after getting better with each run and the step up to a mile should be to his liking. Last time at Salisbury was his best effort when staying on inside the last furlong for third and there is enough stamina in his pedigree - his dam was a multiple middle-distance winner in the US - to suggest he will relish the extra distance. Hannon is often prolific with his 2yos at this time of year and such strong market confidence could be highly significant.

Finally we switch codes for today's negative where, at Fontwell, Sadlers Star has drifted alarmingly in the betting currently trading at [3.8] from [2.95] in the 2m2f Handicap Chase at 17:05.

Although Michael Blake's 8yo comes into this event in fine form, having just landed back-to-back victories, he has not always looked a natural chaser and may struggle to defy a 5lb penalty in the face of some stiff opposition. He has shaped recently as though he needs further so this trip may be on the sharp side while Osmosia and Bankstair both look like dangerous rivals and giving weight away to them will be no easy task.
