"Nicky Henderson's horse has won three novice events early this year before finishing a promising fourth on his handicap debut at Sandown last month over today’s trip of 2m4f. Today’s easier track should benefit him and he should go close, racing off the same mark today."
Two backs and one lay as ever from our friends at Follow The Money.
Today's Follow the Money comes from Leopardstown and Ffos Las.
We start with the 15:25 from Leopardstown and there has been a move for Famous Name, who has been backed from [2.38] in to [2.02]. Dermot Weld's 7-year-old has an excellent record at the track, having won eight times. He had another good season last year, winning three Group races, and has made a winning seasonal appearance in this race for the last two years and looks capable of making it three with another win today.
Next we move to the Ffos Las and in the 16:25 where Speed Master has been well supported from [5.5] in to [4.0]. Nicky Henderson's horse has won three novice events early this year before finishing a promising fourth on his handicap debut at Sandown last month over today's trip of 2m4f. Today's easier track should benefit him and he should go close, racing off the same mark today.
Our final selection is in the 16:35 from Leopardstown where David Livingston is weak in the market, drifting from [2.2] out to [2.9]. Aidan O'Brien's 3-year-old ended last season by winning a Group 2 at the Curragh and they will hope the step up in trip will continue his improvement. But the yard's horses have generally needed the run so far this season and Jim Bolger's runner Light Heavy has attracted strong market support. He looks one to take on at short prices today.
