History will be made at Leicester today but Carl Harris is keeping his powder dry until later in the evening...

I was staggered by the price at which Lethal Glaze was returned, it drifted significantly but won as the form indicated it would. It made up for the short price we were left with on Monsieur Chevalier and completed a great winning Betfair Multiple for us.

On what looks quite a mundane Tuesday surely history will be made by George Baker in the 6.10 at Leicester. It's a pretty average looking maiden but George Baker is a horse trained by George Baker and ridden by George Baker. I think I am right in saying that this has never happened before, but sadly I don't think that the three Georges will be celebrating a winner.

Plenty of races today and I would like to publish a health warning for Towcester which looks like a complete nightmare. I will be at Leicester to witness the George Baker show then I plan to get stuck in to Annabelle's Charm (7.40) who is neither ridden nor trained by Annabelle. Luca Cumani has booked Jamie Spencer in a bid to follow up on an impressive win at Folkstone from only a 4lbs higher mark. Annabelle's Charm looks to have Snowed Under to overcome who was a narrow margin winner at Beverley but this looks a much better race. Spencer has won on this four-year-old filly previously and she should complete a third career success this evening.

My bet of the day is also at Leicester where the inform Hughie Morrison stable saddle Non Dom (8.40) in the lucky last. Non Dom won very easily at Windsor and should defy a 5lbs penalty to complete a quick double. The stable had two winners from two runners yesterday and clearly are in good form. Steve Drowne is back on board, as he was at Windsor and should really capitalise before the handicapper piles on more weight next time. The Windsor win was very eye-catching giving the impression that there was plenty left in the tank. This is my biggest bet and best bet of the day.
