Daily Racing Tips: Let's double up with Hannon today...

Carl Harris is going with a Betfair Multiple on a weakish day of racing...

There is a saying at Windsor, follow Richard Hannon! It certainly could pay dividends tonight, on a day of pretty mediocre racing Hannon may be the answer.

The standout bet is Monsieur Chevalier (6.40) who showed he is all about speed when landing a similar Conditions event at Newmarket. He should win again to complete the hat-trick, but the worry is that with little in the way of opposition he may not be a great price.

I will be backing him, as long as the price is good value, a term which means different things to different people but Monsieur Chevalier is the top horse here and he should win his race. Given the short price it may pay to double him up.

Lethal Glaze (7.40) is another Hannon-trained runner looking for a three timer. He is making his seasonal debut having completed back to back handicap wins last season. He resumes his career on an 8lbs higher mark but this looks a pretty weak race, with only five rivals who all seem to be struggling for form. This is a race very much within the scope of Lethal Blaze who should be ready first time.

On a pretty quiet day I recommend a double on the Hannon runners which should produce a nice profit and swell the bank for more targets later in the week.
