Daily Racing Tips: Another Betfair Multiple for us today...

Carl Harris is rolling three favourites into one bet today...

The best racing, by a country mile, is at Goodwood today where there will be two horses of huge interest, for differing reasons. The first is The Queen's Free Agent (3.25) who is still in The Derby and the other is Kayf Aramis (4.00) who demolished a good field last week at York. My plan today is to land a treble with three horses that I strongly fancy.

Let us start with the best race of the day, the Listed Cocked Hat Stakes (3.25), which has lost much of its appeal as a Derby trial in recent years. The race used to be a major Classic Trial and was known as The Predominate Stakes so it is a boost to Goodwood that a horse of the calibre of Free Agent, in the royal colours, has chosen to put his Derby credentials to the test here. Last seen when winning the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot it must be a concern to ante-post Derby backers that Richard Hannon decided that the Dante Stakes was too competitive for them to run in.

Looking at the field of five rivals, if Free Agent does not win with authority then there is no chance that he will head to Epsom. He should take all the beating and looks to be a good early price. I am prepared to take a chance on this horse's class and the [3.0] I got last night was better than I expected, though the horse currently trades at [3.75]. It would be a serious disappointment if her Majesty's colt did not have the measure of this field.

Kayf Aramis (4.00) got me out of trouble at York and is obviously way ahead of the handicapper, illustrated by winning by a hard held 13 lengths last time. Venitia Williams knows that a huge rise in the weights is on the way so has chosen to capitalise by running here under a penalty. I am not sure what price we will get, but it will be short. Kayf Aramis looks like a good thing.

Catch Bob (2.25) won almost as easily as Kayf Aramis last time at Kelso and this should be a formality against pretty poor opposition today. Back at Kelso over an additional two furlongs he will definitely be no sort of price but is a nice addition to our multiple.

   3 short favourites, 3 losers - think you need to revisit the concept of 'value' ? kaif aramis has never done well after a quick reappaeance,do your homework instead of just picking out the short priced favs
