The best race of the day is at Sandown where Bankable (4.05) is my best bet of the day.

Wednesday and the Ayr western meeting is almost upon us. Today's cards are not the best but Carl Harris has certainly seen worse. Sandown, Beverley, Yarmouth and Kempton are the venues for racing and with the exception of tonight's card, our man has an interest at every meeting.

Sir Mark Prescott has placed Point of Light (3.45) exceptionally well all season with the result being a five timer. Despite a big rise in the weights I think there is more to come and Seb Sanders has been dispatched to ensure a sixth straight win is landed. Rosewin is a horse in form but I think Point of Light is worth following until the prolific run comes to an end. I am a huge fan of both Sir Mark and his stable jockey, having profited well from their endeavours over the years.

The best race of the day is at Sandown where Bankable (4.05) is my best bet of the day. On his first start for Gary Moore he was second to Campanologist in a group three contest. Ryan Moore gets the leg up for the first time on a horse who ran at the very highest level, in one of the world's richest races in Dubai. He was fifth in the Dubai Duty Free on World Cup night, form which is rock solid. In my view with Ryan Moore aboard Bankable will live up to his name. He could achieve big things for his new and very good trainer.
