The jumps racing seaason starts in earnest, in my view, with the Paddy Power meeting at Cheltenham which is now not that far away.

Today, True Britannia (2:10) has taken well to hurdles and with four outings over obstacles so far is an old hand, in comparison to the rest of the field. She was a game sort on the flat and proved equally so at Market Rasen last time, winning well, but now has to carry a penalty. She should be good enough to defy that and follow up here at Hereford.

Benefit Game (4.10) can be called a prolific winner having completed the hat-trick last time at Fontwell. Despite being raised eight pounds in the weights I think he will win again and certainly Tony McCoy being aboard is a huge positive for backers who, in such a competitive race may get a decent price. I suggest taking an early price as there is sure to be support for the inform team of McCoy and O'Neill.
