Carl Harris is keeping things low key today but he's still got a couple of suggested bets for you

Family fun day at York is a great day out and although the racing is not of the highest quality it attracts plenty of the racegoers of tomorrow to a racecourse which can only be good for the sport. After Saturday's marathon I will be taking it easy today with a couple of modest bets.

Spider's Star can follow up on what was a good, gutsy win at Catterick by landing the 4.20 at York. Young Paul Pickard has struck up a good relationship with Sheena West's six year old who I think can out stay them for a profitable win.

Tim Vaughan is proving to be an excellent trainer and horses that are switched to the Welsh handler have a pleasing habit of constantly winning. Sacrilege (3.55) can complete a hat-trick for the yard at Fontwell under Richard Johnson. Rather than going for handicaps Vaughan prefers to carry penalties in novice contests, a practice that is proving lucrative for the yard and can provide another winner today.
