Kieren Fallon returns to racing at Lingfield today and Carl Harris expects the Irish jockey to get back to winning ways...

The fairly modest card at Lingfield will see more press activity then the press room can probably cope with on Friday as Kieren Fallon returns to the saddle after problems with drugs and a prosecution for corruption. The former champion has attracted plenty of attention but now he has to, as promised, let his riding do the talking.

Fallon takes the ride aboard Roodee King (3.20) which represents a very solid chance of victory for the former champion. This is not a decent horse, rated only 59, but this is as bad a maiden that will be run this season. A very poor contest which should be won by Pat Morris' horse who has the best, albeit moderate, form on offer.

Lady Hestia (9.20) has to wait until the last race of the day for her hat-trick bid. She has to carry a penalty for what was a very easy win last time at Yarmouth and is clearly progressing well. The Tregonning yard is back in business after closing down with his horses firing on all cylinders. There looked plenty in the tank at Yarmouth and the polytrack should suit her well. Lady Hestia is, I assume, named after the children's author so hopefully there will be a happy ending to the day at Kempton.
