Daily Racing Tips: A Fahey double on Sunday

Carl's two tips are running at Hamilton today.

Carl Harris turns his attentions north of the border today to try and wrap up a good week's tipping.

We stay in Scotland on Sunday with two bet and two more from the Richard Fahey team who are going well. The yard won the Ayr Silver Cup and was third with our bet Knot in Wood in the Gold Cup yesterday. Out comes his big artillery in the shape of the newly acquired Major Cadeaux. I think that the yard can land a double north of the border on Sunday.

Major Cadeaux (2.40) makes his debut for Richard Fahey, having been acquired from Richard Hannon. The Major is a seriously good horse who has a rating of 114 and competes in a conditions event having been a regular group race performer. I would suggest that after a break and now with Richard Fahey that Major Cadeaux will be fresh and fully tuned to run a big race. It would, given his form, be a huge shock were he not able to get off to a winning start and it looks as though that by running here that is exactly what connections are intending. Major Cadeaux is the best bet of the day.

Sunnyside Tom (3.40) is rated 84 and looks a solid proposition to follow in claimers. He was a short price last time when winning over course and distance and he should really repeat the dose with ideal conditions. Paul Hanagan is aboard for his retained stable, as he was last time. Sunnyside Tom looks rock solid.
