The racing is building up to an excellent weekend with top class racing at Ascot on Saturday, with the QEII Stakes looking like a very good race. The news that Sea The Stars may get his ground for the Arc is very exciting. In the meantime we will have to make do with Goodwood, Redcar, Perth and an evening card on Kempton's Polytrack. I will be focusing on the best of the action, which is at Goodwood.

There is going to be no huge prices about Twice Over (3:45) but this listed race is well within his scope. Having landed a confidence boosting win last time, having competed in group one company for most of the season Twice Over can make it win number six from only 14 starts. You may want to double up at the prices with Point of Light.

Again no massive prices but Point of Light (4:55) is an owner's dream. Sir Mark Prescott's three year-old has won all six of his races this season and reappears here under a penalty. I have said on many occasions that if Sir Mark has them out quickly under a penalty then it pays to take note. The master trainer has, I think, found another winnable handicap for his prolific son on Pivotal. I personally will be doubling up for hopefully another winning day.
