Nick rounds a good week off at Newbury...

Today's 80/20 is Pressgang in the 1.30 at Newbury.

This gelding has some very smart form in the book notably when running Cheltenham Bumper winner Hairy Molly very close in last years race.

The stable can get one ready and is in good form. Assuming the choice is fit and well we should have a super chance of landing the 80/20 at a good price.

Nick Shiambouros' Patented 80/20 Bet - January 24th

Today's 80/20 is Victorias Groom in the 1.50 at Fontwell.

This German bred gelding has some very smart form over hurdles notably when running third to Detroit City a couple of years ago at Newbury. The form figures over the larger obstacles do not seem to read very well but last time out at Lingfield this horse put up a much better effort finishing third to Duc De Regniere at Lingfield.

Today Victorias Groom faces a very short priced favourite who is potentially very smart but is unproven over fences so we should have a good chance of landing the 80/20 at a big price.

Today's 80/20 is Halla Sun in the 2.30 at Mussleburgh.

This Halling gelding really caught the eye last time out at Catterick when going down fighting despite some sloppy jumping in a decent race. This guy had some decent form on the flat and providing he brushes up his jumping we should have a solid chance of landing the 80/20 at a reasonable price.

Nick Shiambouros' Patented 80/20 Bet - January 22nd

Today's 80/20 is Little Firecracker in the 4.00 at Southwell.

This daughter of the great Cadeaux Generaux went through the ring for just 3,000gns last November but at least she has won a race which is more than can be said for most of her opponents.

Her new conditioner tries this new surface for the first time and if she takes to it she may improve a little and give us a good chance of landing the 80/20 at a fair price.

Nick Shiambouros' Patented 80/20 Bet - January 21st

Today's 80/20 is King Jack in the 2.40 at Folkestone.

This gelding has proven solid form, both on the ground and over the course, when winning a NH flat race last year. He has since made a good start to his career over hurdles, making a pleasing debut at a stiff course last time out.

The favourite is bound to be a short price because he was badly hampered in running last time out when in with a chance but I think he ended up beaten. This leads me to believe that we have a great chance of landing the 80/20 at a fair price.
