Nick goes after a winner at Southwell...

Today's 80/20 is The Geester in the 3.00 at Southwell.

This professional maiden has been running well recently and went down fighting to the probable favourite today - who will probably go off at short odds.

He does have a weight advantage and I suspect he will finish a lot closer today. In this large field to give us a sporting chance of landing the 80/20 at a big price.

Today's 80/20 is Supreme Builder in the 1.30 at Newcastle.

There's plenty of stamina in the top and bottom half of the pedigree for this lightly raced gelding and on today's going he will need it.

This horse shaped with plenty of promise back in November when he did not settle fully and just blew up behind Star Player.

Today's contest looks wide open and with minimal improvement we should have a good chance of landing the 80/20 at a fair price.
