Nick's bet goes to the Festival
Today's 80/20 is Old Benny in the 12.30 at Cheltenham.
The selection has given me the impression that he will be suited by the extreme distance of this contest and has some good form in the book notably when staying on behind Ornais last time out.
With this in mind we should have a good chance of landing the 80/20 at a big price.

Good tipping Nick.

Nick is without doubt the most knowledgable 'free' tipster around. I'm sure he could make a fortune running a paid service, but sadly such services are almost invariably run by people who can't make betting pay, so get punters to pay them a wage for picking losers!
I don't think there is a horse that is in training, whether it be a class 6 all weather maiden or a Group one champion, that Nick doesn't know intimately! Even the parents, grandparents and siblings of the horse will be lodged somewhere in Nick's encyclopeadic mind and produced on call as collateral information as to why a horse has a great chance or no chance in the upcoming race. I love listening to him on Betfair radio, and not just for his wisdom. He's a genuinely nice, modest guy who doesn't brag about his winning tips nor promise punters the earth. After all, his 80-20's are about finding 'value'. Horses at decent odds which have a great chance of placing and a decent chance of winning. When the prices are short you can be pretty confident its a 'nailed on win bet' and when the odds are long you will almost always get a run for your money and frequently a profit or break even from the race. And now and again, like today, he will home in on a relatively unfancied horse in a competetive race that wins comfortably.
You can't ask for any more than that from any tipster, but a tipster that gives you all that knowledge and advice for nothing deserves high praise and thanks!
