The 80-20 marches on to Catterick...

Today's 80-20 is Final Veto in the 1.50 at Catterick.

Five starts for this Vettori gelding but he has shown some solid form on this type of ground - notably when running behind Lease Lend at Wetherby to finish a good second and all over the winner close home.

A reproduction of that would see Final Veto give us a sporting chance of landing the 80-20 at a big price in this big field.

Today's 80-20 is North South Divide in the 1.50 at Lingfield.

Just three starts so far for this son of Namiid but this four year old has shown steady improvement in all of them, most notably when third to a Toller inmate in early December.

Today he should strip fitter and should give us a fair chance of landing the 80-20 at a fair price.

Today's 80-20 is Sir Pandy in the 1.20 at Leicester.

Nearly all the his rivals seem relatively exposed which is no surprise as to the nature of the race but I believe there may be some improvement left in this lightly raced Taipan gelding.

The drop in distance should also assist and providing Sir Pandy does not 'bounce' after his recent run we should have a good chance of landing the 80-20 at a fair price.

Sir Pandy finished unplaced

Today's 80-20 is Mealagh Valley in the 3.00 at Ludlow.

This seven-year-old made a really pleasing debut at huge odds in a NH flat race at Aintree back in October of last year.

The form of that race has not fully unfolded yet but the sixth placed horse won a small race a couple of days ago. Last time out he improved on that run when finishing second to Quarry Town over the course.

Mealagh Valley faces a large field today but I think only a few have a solid chance of winning and he should give us a good chance of landing the 80-20 at a fair price.

Mealagh Valley finished first
