Today's 80-20 is Luxurix in the 3.50 at Lingfield. This Linamix gelding has shown plenty of promise over the last couple of starts and put up a decent effort when chasing home the classy Group Captain finishing a very respectable third in a hot race at Newbury. Today he also faces a couple of formidable rivals in Bremen and Acopal and due to this factor Luxurix should be a big price and give us a sporting chance of landing the 80-20 in this competitive heat.

Today's 80-20 is Honour High in the 2.55 at Fontwell. This six-year-old gelding appears to be steadily improving and put up an improved effort over hurdles last time out over the course when staying on stoutly to finish third in a fair contest. On the flat, Honour High was only rated 48 when finishing down the field in a handicap at Goodwood but has taken to hurdles well. With these factors in mind Honour High should give us a good chance of landing the 80-20 at a fair price.

Today's 80-20 is Quws Law in the 1.40 at Ayr. Two-and-a-half miles on heavy ground suggests that this will turn in to a real slog and the selection has proven form on this ground. His last effort over the course gave me the strong impression that a step up in distance will suit him down to the ground. The unbeaten favourite is bound to go off at short odds due to his impressive win last time out but he does carry a penalty. With this in mind Quws Law should give us a good chance of landing the 80-20 at a solid price.

Today's 80-20 is My Arch in the 3.35 at Catterick. I felt this gelded son of Silver Patriarch was slightly unlucky last time out when he was impeded close home over the course behind Watch My Back in mid December. Today he faces a short price favourite in Nosferatu who has beaten the selection over the flat. Hopefully My Arch who has proven ability over hurdles will have an advantage over the favourite today and give us a solid chance of landing the 80-20 at a fair price.

Today's 80-20 is Final Bid in the 1pm at Uttoxeter.This Mujadil gelding has won in this company before and takes the plunge again today.This race is one of the weaker sellers you will see and Final Bid has some fair form in the context of today's race.In addition the stable are in fine form.With this in mind we should have a fair chance of landing the 80/20 at a good price,

Nick Shiambouros' Patented 80-20 Bet - December 30th

Today's 80/20 is Johnny Bisset in the 2.25 at Taunton. It is a tall order to win two Bumper races in a season but this Oscar gelding did just that in good style at Huntingdon last season showing a willing attitude and keeping on stoutly for the victory thrashing a fair field. Johnny Bisset is bound to have been well prepared for this event and should give us a sporting chance of landing the 80/20 at a really big price in a competitive event

Today's 80-20 is Emerald Witness in the 1pm at Newbury. This well bred Green Desert gelding has had a couple of starts this season and has shown gradual improvement each start. Last time out he really ran in to a smart horse in Ashkazar at Wincanton and in the circumstances did well to finish in the runner up spot. Today he faces a horse from a high profile stable that was last seen chasing Lucarno in the St Leger at Doncaster finishing in seventh place. It is certain that the favourite will be all the rage but I believe Emerald Witness still has some improvement left and we should have a good chance of landing the 80-20 at a fair price.
