Today's 80-20 is Hills Of Aran in the 13:55 at Sandown Park.

It was only a couple of years ago that this son of the great Sadler's Wells was competing against Dubawi in the Irish 2000gns in Ireland.

Since then he has put up some fair efforts but it is only recently that he has shown marked improvement over hurdles - notably last time out when he was a very good third in a very hot handicap hurdle at Newbury.

Prior to that he has been most impressive in novice company winning two races decisively.

Today's race is very competitive featuring some very promising types but conditions will be extremely testing and that will equal the playing field significantly. Given those factors I believe we have a sporting chance of landing the 80-20 at a very big price.

Today's 80-20 is Its Moon in the 13:00 at Leicester.

This daughter of Tobougg really caught the eye when winning a good event at the first time of asking in a fair event for fillies at Huntington in early November.

Prior to that she had some fair form on the flat and with normal improvement we should have a fair chance of landing the 80-20 at a fair price.

Today's 80-20 is Count Kristo in the 12:40 at Plumpton.

This horse has been very difficult to train due to his tendency to break blood vessels but he really put up a smart effort in a weak event in mid November.

In the past he has put up some pretty decent efforts and if he manages to run his race we have a good chance of landing the 80-20 at a fair price.

Today's 80-20 is Alpes Maritimes in the 15:20 at Lingfield.

This gelded son of Danehill Dancer had some pretty smart form for veteran trainer Geoff Wragg notably when running third to the smart The Grey Berry in June and also filling the same position behind the well regarded Broomielaw at Doncaster in August.

His new trainer paid 77,000gns for him at the sales recently and he broke his maiden in promising fashion beating a fair field quite easily at today's course.

With that confidence-boosting effort and clearly enjoying his new surroundings it appears that Alpes Maritimes is progressing and we should have a good chance of landing the 80-20 at a good price.

Today's 80-20 is Ramvaswani in the 15:20 at Fakenham.

This gelded son of Spectrum started his career in Ireland but has shown a few pieces of good form in the UK including a good third to Notre Cyborg in August.

This race will not take a great deal of winning and with the favourite Transvestite likely to be a short price we have a fair chance of landing the 80-20 at a good price.
