Today's 80/20 is River Proud in the 3.40 Doncaster.This son of hot sire Proud Citizen has kept the best company ever since thrashing Billion Dollar Kid in a maiden at Newbury. Proud Citizen made the transition to Group company very quickly going down by a whisker to Winker Watson in the July Stakes at HQ.After a poor run in the Champagne, which in truth was disappointing, he quickly bounced back to form with a hard fought win in the Tattersalls Stakes back at HQ.There are a few promising types on offer but overall i would rather rely on a horse with proven form in the book and i believe that he will not go down without a fight and therefore should give us a good chance of landing the 80 /20 at a solid price.
