Today's 80/20 is Eco Centrism in the 4.50 Nottingham. There is a big field of maidens on offer and several of the big yards are represented.

This son of Selkirk made his debut just over a year ago in a typical back end maiden at Yarmouth. After missing the break he made good headway to finish a highly creditable second in what turned out to be a good race behind Paceman. He had the very talented Lion Sands in behind him that day who has since gone on to strut his stuff with horses like Yellowstone in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood.

The stable is going well at present and the jockey booking does not hurt either. Hopefully the trainer will have him ready to do himself justice in a wide open betting event. If he is ready then Eco Centrism will give us a good chance of landing the 80/20 at a square price.
