York races to be transferred

The BHA have announced which races have been saved following the abandonment of the Ebor Festival

The British Horseracing Authority has approved the transfer of all of the Group 1 and two of the Group 2 races along with the Ebor Handicap and the DBS £300000 St Leger Yearling Stakes.

The following races will be transferred to Newbury on Friday, August 22nd:

Race No 46567 THE IRISH THOROUGHBRED MARKETING GIMCRACK STAKES (CLASS 1) (Group 2)
Race No 46568 THE totesport NEWBURGH STAKES (CLASS 2 HERITAGE
HANDICAP)

The following races will be transferred to Newmarket on Friday, August 22nd:

Race No 49492 THE COOLMORE NUNTHORPE STAKES (CLASS 1) (Group 1)
Race No 49491 THE DARLEY YORKSHIRE OAKS (CLASS 1) (Group 1)
Race No 46471 THE DBS £300000 ST LEGER YEARLING STAKES (CLASS 2)

The following races will be transferred to Newmarket on Saturday, August 23rd:

Race No 46598 THE JUDDMONTE INTERNATIONAL STAKES (CLASS 1)
(Group 1)

The following race will be transferred to Goodwood on Saturday, August 23rd:

Race No 46648 THE LADBROKES GREAT VOLTIGEUR STAKES (CLASS 1) (Group 2)
