Hush Tiger worth opposing at Hexham
At Hexham today in the 4.25 Hush Tiger is a horse i will be opposing and i have pressed the lay button at his current price of 2.3.This gelding has just one victory to his name and has two legitimate rivals in Player and Cybora to contend with in this very weak event. His last effort showed some promise but he is not certain to reproduce that form again.
Today's Selections
Hush Tiger - Lay at around [2.3]
At Nad Al Sheba today Diabolical will be carrying my money in this very well contested Group 1 event at 2.55. The selection was purchased by his new owners last year and as previously reported, I felt he would have had a leading chance in last year's Breeder's Cup Sprint but connections decided not to compete and this event has been his target since last year. He has beaten the current favourite last year in a warm race and has a victory to his name over the course. At present he is trading at 4.3 which appears to be a fair price.
Today's Selections
Nad Al Sheba 2.55 - Diabolical to Win

In the 2.30 at Lingfield, a seven furlong claimer, Danetime Lord appears to have a decent chance. The selection met interference last time out but still prevailed and given a clear passage should go really well today. The jockey booking is significant further boosting the chance of the selection
Today's Selections:
Lingfield, 2.30, Danetime Lord, Win

Two win bets for your consideration
In the last race at Exeter today at 5pm, Double The Trouble will be all the rage and should be hard to beat in this contest. This gelding is still improving and at present he is trading at [2.36] but I am going to monitor the market before I invest.
Over at Lingfield in the 3pm, Best One is a very interesting entry for this owner/trainer combination and should go very close in this modest event. At present he is trading at [3.15] and I have backed him at this price. The selection should make the running to satisfy any back-to-lay clients.
Today's Selections:
Exeter, 5pm, Double The Trouble, Win
Lingfield, 3pm, Best One, Win

Can inconsistent runner turn in a strong performance?
At Southwell today The London Gang is worth a small interest in both markets in this modest event at 4.35. He has plenty of form in the book from his two-year-old days and I hope his new conditioner can rekindle some of that ability.
He should go off at a decent price today. At present he is trading at [13.5] in the win market but is sure to trade much bigger in-running as he is a slow starter and is sure to accommodate any lay-to-back clients willing to exercise that option.
Today's Selection:
Southwell, 4.35, The London Gang, Win

Tuesday 25th March - We start a new week on a Tuesday. The theme of Nick's selections today is french sounding horses that are running in the North of England. Bonne Chance to thee folks!
In the first race at Pontefract today (2.10), St Jean Cap Ferrat is a horse I will be backing to win and place in what should be a warm contest. The selection has some very solid form in the book. Of particular note was a good run behind Ibn Khaldun at Leicester and prior to that in a maiden at HQ where the form has worked out particularly well. The currently price of [10.0] in the win market looks reasonable.
At Sedgefield in the 2pm race, Theatre Belle should go very close in this weak race, provided she has fully recovered from a heavy fall last time out at Carlisle. At present, she is trading at [2.76] on the exchange.
Today's Selections:
Pontefract, 2.10, St Jean Cap Ferrat, Win and Place
Sedgefield, 2.00, Theatre Belle, Win
